About

Radiant Labs is an independent company of engineers and designers. We work across industries and disciplines, on a small number of things at a time — and we stay with them long enough to get them right.

Some of what we build is public. Most of it isn’t, yet.

Practice

Four kinds of work. The mix changes from year to year; the standard doesn’t.

  1. 01

    Products

Applications and tools, designed and engineered end to end.

  2. 02

    Platforms

The systems and infrastructure that other things are built on.

  3. 03

    Research

Patient work on open problems, wherever it happens to lead.

  4. 04

    Ventures

New companies, started from within and built to stand on their own.

Principles

A few things we hold ourselves to, whatever the work happens to be.

  1. i.

    Few things, done well.

We choose our work carefully, and give each piece of it our full attention.

  2. ii.

    Built to last.

We make things to be relied on for years — not noticed for a week.

  3. iii.

    Quiet by default.

We would rather show the work than talk about it. When it’s ready, you’ll see it.
